Fichajes: Milan star on Man Utd’s list as they ponder €80m sale

Manchester United are preparing for the possibility of losing Marcus Rashford in the summer transfer window and they have drawn up a list of replacements which includes AC Milan star Rafael Leao, a report claims.

A report from Fichajes begins by citing The Telegraph who state that Manchester United would be willing to listen to offers for the 26-year-old Rashford despite the fact his contract expires in the summer of 2028.

They value him at around €80m and they believe that – despite his attachment to the club and previous contributions – they could replace the English forward if he were to depart before the start of next season.

Raphinha is one of the names on their list. The 27-year-old Brazilian currently plays for Barcelona and has a deal which runs until the summer of 2027. He would cost about €60m, after a season containing nine goals and 11 assists in 33 games.

Leao is a name United are keen on too, even though the 24-year-old Portuguese star renewed until 2028 last May and has a €150m release clause. His 13 goals and 13 assists in 43 appearances this season mean a big investment would be required.

Finally, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is being evaluated by the Red Devils. The 23-year-old Georgian winger currently plays for Napoli and has an estimated price of €80m after 10 goals and 9 assists in 42 games this campaign.
