Current Ohio State Star Football Player Gives Back To His High School In An Incredible Way
Barbara J. Perenic/Columbus Disp / USA TODAY NETWORK

Ohio State is coming off an unfortunate end to its 2023 season. It lost its last two games, one to arch-rival Michigan, making it three straight losses, and then fell to Missouri in the Cotton Bowl.

Ohio State Added A Star Running Back From Ole Miss

The Buckeyes were very lucky this offseason when current running back TreVeyon Henderson decided he would not head to the NFL, where he would’ve been one of the first few running backs off the board, but wanted to come back to school for his senior year.

Even with Henderson coming back, Ohio State also got a great running back from the portal in Ole Miss, Quinshon Judkins, and now the two could be one of the best duos in college football.

Of course, NIL has been a considerable discussion in college sports over the past few years, and there are some massive positives and negatives to it, but Judkins was able to use some of his NIL money for a great cause.

Judkins Gives Back To His High School

On Tuesday night, the former Ole Miss running back presented a $10,000 check to his former high school, Pike Road’s, in Alabama. He was seen handing the check to the school’s current head coach and talking to the players after their practice ended.

Judkins Is A Class Act

It was a very classy move for Judkins to give back to his former high school, and hopefully, more college players will take some of their NIL money to do the same thing. All these high schools played a significant role in getting these players to the next level, so it’s always lovely to see them give back to the school that raised them.
