Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian and her NBA player husband, Lamar Odom, are branching off the Kardashian family TV roots to star in their own reality show, Us Weekly reported Thursday.
The youngest Kardashian sister and Odom, 31, will star in a E! series reminiscent of the Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey MTV show "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica" — about their life as a couple.
"It shoots in the spring," an insider told the celebrity magazine of the upcoming series starring the Los Angeles Lakers forward and the 26-year-old, who also appeared in "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami."
"They're so cute, playing off one another," another source said of the pair, who married in September 2009.
Odom was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers with the fourth overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft, then signed with Miami in 2003.
He was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2004, where he has been a key contributor on championship teams the past two seasons.
